I used to play with sticks in the woods. Now I play with pencils in the office.
The use of imagination is the same but with a lot less poison ivy. I’m Sam, and I’m a Wisconsinite who made his way west in baby steps. First to Minnesota, then to Colorado, and now to California.
Like a snail, I’ve left a silvery trail of work along the way ranging from emotional to existential to totally absurd, but all of it remains uniquely me.
